Las Palmas, El Salvador

$20.00

This coffee is grown in the slopes of the Ilamatepec - Metapan mountain range, and is named after the La Palma municipality in the region. The town is known for its brightly colored traditional wooden crafts and embroidered fabrics, as well as for its historical importance during the peace talks between the El Salvadoran government and the guerrillas in the 80’s. Known as the “cradle of peace”, the town represents unity for the coffee producers who live there.

Our favorite way to enjoy Las Palmas is filter coffee — this method brings out the sweet and hearty macadamia notes rounded out by spicy cinnamon and rich cocoa.
